Over the last eight years, Albert Mucunguzi has managed and executed projected projects in the information technology, Digital Communication and Public Relations sector for a variety of clients. Having founded PC Tech Magazine – a leading technology publication – Albert is currently the Digital Director at TBWA\Uganda, where is he is responsible for developing and executing the Digital Strategy for MTN Uganda.
He has previously headed PR and Digital at MetropolitanRepublic. He has six years of communication experience and has worked on various brands in the sectors of technology, banking and telecommunications, including MTN, Stanbic, Centenary Bank, Microsoft, and Samsung.

TMS Ruge is the founder of a number of businesses and initiatives working on cutting-edge solutions for social change. He is the founder and CEO of Raintree Farms, an agriculture business in his hometown of Masindi, Uganda, as well as the co-founder of remit.ug, a money transfer platform, and Hive Colab, Uganda’s first technology incubator.
Ruge, a recipient of a 2012 Champion of Change Award from the White House, is a respected contributor on Africa’s renaissance. His articles have appeared in major media outlets including the Guardian, New York Times, CNN and the Globe and Mail.
Born in Uganda and raised in East Africa and the US, Ruge believes in a connected and socially conscious global community.

Isabel Odida is a Data Planning Engineer. She is also a Trainer for the African Network Operators Group (AfNOG) where she teaches the Scalable Internet Services course.
Isabel is an avid supporter of free and open source software (FOSS) and bases all her training on these platforms. She is a Technology Evangelist and very passionate about knowledge sharing and empowering the talented minds involved in the African technical community.
Ronald is the founder of SchoolMaster Solutions, a Ugandan software company focused on developing solutions for the education sector. SchoolMaster’s products include the country’s leading school management solution (PSM) as well as the country’s first mobile/web parent’s information portal (myChild). Prior to running SchoolMaster, Ronald worked with MTN Uganda’s Technical & Marketing departments for 10 years.

Haleem ChongomweruDirector of Education
Chongomweru Haleem, currently works as a lecturer at Makerere University Kampala College of Computing and Information Sciences, Information Technology Department, Before he served as a Systems Administrator and ICT Manager at the Islamic University in Uganda for a period of more than five years.
He holds a Master’s of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology (First Class) from Islamic University of Technology – Dhaka, Bangladesh and a Bachelor’s of Information Technology from Islamic University in Uganda. He has published and presented papers internationally and also trained in Internet governance and capacity building from Diplo Foundation.
In addition to teaching, supervising and conducting research, Mr. Chongomweru is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Newline technologies limited a core software development company based in Uganda.
Anne WhiteheadDirector of Communications
Anne is the Director of Whitehead Communications Ltd., a communications and PR firm based in Kampala, Uganda. She is trained in public relations, international development and cross-cultural communications, with extensive skills in business/NGO consulting, writing and editing, multi-media production, social media and stakeholder relations. She holds a Master of Professional Communication from Ryerson University in Toronto, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development from McGill University in Montréal, Canada.
