Elizabeth NtegeChairperson

Elizabeth Ntege, is the Co-founder and CEO of NFT Consult Group, a business process outsourcing and consultancy firm with offices located in six East African countries. She is also the Co-founder of NFT Mawazo an ITES Innovation hub. Prior to NFT, Elizabeth worked as an engineer for over 10yrs for entities like Uganda
Telecom, British Telecom, BT Concert and D-link Europe. She also serves as a Non-executive director on the board of Stanbic bank, as a Trustee on the board of Chance for childhood in the UK and until recently served as the Chairperson on the board of Data Care Uganda limited.
She is an active member of the Business and Professional Women – Uganda where she also volunteers on their mentorship program. Active member of The Boardroom Africa as well as the League of East African Directors. She is also a member of the Alliance for Trade in Information Technology and Services association.
She joined Impact2Invest an initiative that supports the development and sustainability of a growing community of 100 women business entrepreneurs and leaders in Africa through innovative business coaching, mentoring, networking and knowledge as a mentor in business transformation and HR.
James ByaruhangaVice Chairperson

James Byaruhanga, is the General Manager of Raxio Data Centre with over 20yrs of experience in the ICT industry as a senior manager in a number of leading Telecom companies and ISPs.
He served as COO and CTO with Roke Telkom for over 12 years, Uganda’s leading-edge ISP and was instrumental in its expansion across East Africa.
Prior to joining Roke Telkom, James spent 5 years working for MTN Uganda in IT, ISP and consulting for MTN Group and 3 years at Africa Online in Uganda and Ghana. He brings to the board a wealth of experience in the region, a vast network of enterprise and telecom partners, as well as over 10 years of
executive management experience in the ICT sector.

A founding owner of Vantage Communications Group, an established and one of the first truly professional PR Agency in Africa with operation in five countries in East and Central Africa (ECA). Expanded into the digital arena providing digital transformation services and solution Arxia Romania East and Central Africa regional office. A banker and investment analyst turned communication expert; She hold’s an MBA from ESAMI/Maastricht Business School. She’s a qualified and accredited PR practitioners (MCIPR) by PRCA UK. Has an Executive Master in Communication Science with Universita della Svizzera (Lugano, Switzerland).

Boaz ShaniDirector

Boaz Shani, is a Director / AV Consultant with extensive experience in productions, events, ICT, marketing and logistics. Boaz has been specializing and contributing to the ICT sector for over 25 years and in 2010 teamed up with a group of young Ugandan technicians and designers for a heartfelt project known as UGO. He is passionate about mentorship among young Ugandan entrepreneurs which led him and a number of ICT enthusiasts to come together and form the ICT Association of Uganda (ICTAU) where he continues to actively serve on the board.
Micheal NiyitegekaDirector

Micheal Niyitegeka, is the Program Director Refactory at Clarke International University. He is also the ICDL Africa Country Manager for Uganda. He is passionate and practices Leadership Development, Business Technology Strategy and Business Advisory Services. He possesses 20 years of working experience in both the private and public sectors, and holds an MBA from MsM/ESAMI Business School & is a Franklin Covey Certified Facilitator.

Patrick Kadama, is a Software project manager at Living Goods Uganda. As the youngest member on the board, Patrick is passionate about growing the associations’ membership, creating value for members especially amongst the young members of the association and improving the membership experience
and engagement.
He brings to the board a wealth of experience and technical capacity that positions him well to leverage these for collaborations, funding opportunities and partnerships that will benefit the association at national and international levels.
